Georgia Nicholson is a 15 year old English girl whose live is full of fabnosity and maturenosity.  She is the maybe girlfriend of a Luuurve God all the while being great mates with the Hornmeister.  The final installment of the Confessions of Georgia Nicholson is full of hijinx and mayhem!

It took me a few months from the time I bought this to the time I actually read it.  After all, it’s the ending of one of my favorite contemporary series.  I’ve read all of Georgia Nicholson’s grand adventures over the past couple of years of her life.  This book is no different.

Although very predictable, the ending is very funny and well played out.  I feel like we could all guess who she’d end up with, but it’s the way that came about that was very unpredictable.  I liked that.  Wait, no, actually, I didn’t like that so much.  I would have rather seen Georgia with a certain boy throughout the whole book rather than stupid Massimo.  I seriously don’t see why Massimo even existed in this book.  She already had to chose between two boys before, so I don’t see why it happens again in this one.  But the ending… It gets me.

Also, Georgia had some good nuggets of wisdom she bestowed upon me before the end.  There was one in which she spoke about how maybe boys don’t all like supermodel-types, that maybe they like normal girls as well.  I just really liked that.

You know I can’t not discuss this book without mentioning my favorite character, Dave the Laugh.  He wooed me in the second or third book, and hasn’t stopped since.  I really trying not to spoil, but he just… I love him.  If he were real, I’d be friends with him, for sure.

I thought the ending was better than any other part of the book.  But I guess you just have to deal with that when you’re reading Louise Rennison’s books.  I understand that it’s more about the comedy, and that’s why I give it about 3 or 4 out of 5 stars.  I just felt like Georgia could have been a bit more mature on her actions and that the plot could have been so much better, especially for the final book (instead of making us wait so long for that amazing ending).

As you can tell, I tried my best not to spoil this book.  But if you’ve read the others you can take a really good guess at what the ending will be like.  I think that’s why it took me so long to get around to reading.  I just knew what would happen in the end.  But the adventure is half the fun, right?
