Tune in Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Ginger at GReads. It’s to help spread the love of music throughout the book blogging community. It gives me the chance to talk about some fun songs!
I decided to do something a little bit different this week. Instead of the playlist coming from iTunes, I headed for my YouTube subscription feed.
First on the playlist is a parody of the every-so-popular Somebody That I Used to Know entitled “Subway Where I Used to Go” by Hank Green of vlogbrothers. It had me laughing all the way through!
This next song is a cover mash-up of Time of Your Life / One Life by Illana Zackon. Such pretty harmonies!
What do you think of these songs? What are some awesome songs YOU’VE discovered this week?

I couldn’t agree with you more.
I love Hank’s Gotye parody! I watched it a couple times the other day and laughed every single time.
Interesting… haha! Fun.

I am adoring that 2nd video to pieces! It is such a lovely mash-up/cover song!
Hi! Thanks for the visit to my blog!
I love Somebody That I Used To Know! The parody is pretty cool too. Thanks for sharing!
I love the mash-up of time of your life and one life. Thanks for sharing!
The mashup was really well done. The subway song was hilarious. For me, it falls under the category of “some people have WAY too much time on their hands.” But we all benefit from it so I guess that’s all right.
