A few months ago, Random House emailed me about interviewing Rachel Hartman, author of Seraphina.
The conversation went somewhat like this:
Random House: Hey, Rachel Hartman is this awesome debut author whose book is about DRAGONS. Would you like to interview her?
Me: YES. YES PLEASE.
RH: Okay, we’ll send you Seraphina and you can come up with some questions to ask her.
Me: OKAY. I’ll do it in the same style as my interview with Violet Haberdasher. Is that all right?
RH: Quite well, quite well. Pip pip! *tips bowler in the general direction of Elizziebooks*
Okay, okay, so it went a little bit more formal than that, sans bowler hat, and I was glad to have the opportunity to interview Rachel. We both had fun filming our parts, and this is the final result. *cues tense Who Wants To Be a Millionaire music*

Great interview! I’m so jealous about the book festivals! I live so far away from most of them but would love to go!
I love how professional the book industry is!
It’s awesome to see booktubers such as yourself getting oppurtunities like this.
P.S. the dragons made me comment!
Agreed! I like interviewing authors in this format.
This was a great video. May I repost it along with my review of Seraphina? I would be glad to give a link back to your site.
Please do! That would be awesome :]
