I loved Perks of Being a Wallflower. Written and directed by Stephen Chbosky, I had little worry going in. I wasn’t 100% pleased with Emma Watson’s accent when she first shows up, but it gets better as the story movies forward. The movie brought so much color to a story I already loved. For whatever reason, I read Charlie (Logan Lerman) as being much more immature and rather dry. The movie allowed me to see him joking around and his amazing sense of humor. Also, I freakin’ loved Patrick (Ezra Miller). I loved him in the book, but holy wow I loved him much much more in the movie.
This movie is absolutely beautiful with its costuming, scenery, characters… All of it. And to add to it, I loved the editing. We get to see these little flashbacks of his aunt. Oh my WOW. Also, Chbosky chose to do a lot of graphic matches between scenes. I mentioned in the video about one of my favorites which is when the police kick in the door and in the next scene it’s started by the doctor opening the door. Beautiful.
A+ movie and x1000 I would watch it over and over and over again.

Oh my Ezra Miller!
I completely fell in love with him and his performance. You’re totally right, he was perfection.*happy sigh*
Yessss!
OMG I want to see this so bad! And I love that you’re ALMOST-spazzing like you want to just scream your fangirl feelings all over the camera, but you have to retain yourself.
Yeeessss
This story has gotten a ton of love lately. I’ve put off seeing the film because I really want to read the book first. Glad you approved! Thanks for the review!
